The Lord Has Enough | Chroniclers

Being an apostle, my job is sometimes so difficult. We have to preach what no one else will. Even things that we’ve preached before. When the Lord placed this topic in my mind, I tried to shake it for days, but couldn’t shake it. All I know is I have to obey God.

I’m talking to you about marriage and divorce. Why? Because judgment is about to come. The divorce rate in the church has far exceeded that in Hollywood. The Bible says it clearly: a marriage can only end if one of the spouses has died. Jesus gave only one exception for divorce. If one of the partners has been sexually unfaithful, you can get a divorce, but you must remain single for as long as your partner lives. When you get married, two people become one, and that can only be separated by death.

The Bible says: “It has been said that whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a writing of divorce; but I say to you that whoever divorces his wife, except by reason of fornication, commits adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery. (Matthew 5: 31-32.) “Therefore they are no longer Twain (two persons) but one flesh, which therefore God has united, let not man separate (separate). (Matthew 19: 6.) This is not just a statement; but an order from God.

The problem in the church with marriage is that no one wants to wait on God for their spouse. They want to marry the first man or woman who looks good and turns them on. For every man and woman who are supposed to be married, God has already chosen a mate for them. We just have to wait for God’s time for them. How do we know we have the right one? Seek God with all your heart and He will let you know. Otherwise, marrying the wrong person could mean a lot of problems and heartaches in the marriage. Can you serve the Lord by being married to the wrong person? Yes, but it’s going to take a lot, a lot of work.

Now I know some of you are saying that you don’t have to stay single after divorce. You are so wrong. The Bible says, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery; and whoever marries a woman cut off from her husband commits adultery. Luke 16:18.

“And he said to them that whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her. And if a woman divorces her husband and marries another, she is committing adultery. (Mark 10: 11-12.) Husband: and let the husband not put away his wife. (1 Corinthians 7: 10-11.) “A wife is bound by law as long as her husband lives; but if her husband is dead, she is free to marry whomever she wants; only in the Lord. (1 Corinthians 7:39)

You will not enter heaven by living in adultery. If you stay single after divorce and have sex, you are committing adultery and cannot reach Heaven. Preachers remarry divorced people every day, and they have blood on their hands. You can ask: if I got divorced and remarried, what should I do? I won’t answer. Seek the Lord wholeheartedly and he will tell you what to do. We have to get it right. Judgment is coming!
