Safaree to pay Erica Mena $4,300 in child support as divorce finalized

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta cast members Safaree and Erica Mena are officially divorced, with their marriage legally dissolved and the court finalizing custody and child support arrangements.

Erica Mena applied for support last year with Safaree, with whom she shares daughter Majesty Safire and son Legend. On Friday, TMZ reported that the couple’s divorce ended on September 12, and they reached an agreement regarding child support using an arbitrator.

Under the terms of the couple’s agreement, Safaree will pay $4,305 a month in child support. The estranged couple will also share joint custody of the two young children. As for the couple’s marital home, they reportedly sold their sprawling $1.3million Georgian mansion in July. The house was sold to TV Executive and producer Carlos King. It doesn’t seem like the house was part of the divorce, as it seems like they had an amicable divorce at best.

Erica filed for divorce last May after claiming Safaree cheated on her while she was pregnant with their son Legend.

During her pregnancy, Erica repeatedly called out Safaree on social media for not being there for her during the pregnancy. She also accused him of going on vacation with his new girlfriend when she gave birth to their son, and he didn’t see the baby for over a week while he was hospitalized in NICU after birth.

The couple have also taken a beating in recent times, with Erica also shooting his new girlfriend, Kimbella Matos.

Neither Erica Mena nor Safaree Samuels have reacted to the news, although Erica celebrated restoring her single status earlier this year. In the meantime, Erica is also seeing new doors open as she recently starred in Fox’s Tubi movie “The Stepmother.”

Erica Mena recently reflected on the movie being the number one show on the online platform and also hinted that she will be starring in another upcoming movie.

“I don’t think you understand how hard it is to do. Stepmom is number one on @tubi I have no words,” she wrote. “I’m so grateful. A year ago, a year ago, I was literally in the hospital, trying to prevent my baby boy from giving birth prematurely. And here I am a year later with a starring role in a number one FILM on Tubi. Thanks to EVERYONE watching and streaming. Can’t believe it. So much more coming from @footagefilmsstudios We’re shooting another movie next month so be ready for more. Thanks to the man above. Thank you @chrisstokes1969 @marqueshouston and all the cast and crew for this project.
