Emmerdale out as Kim Tate kidnaps Millie in a guardianship dispute? | Television and radio | Show biz & TV

Emmerdale’s Kim Tate (played by Claire King) has been through a tough few months and feels like she’s losing everything. Her son Jamie Tate (Alex Lincoln) is believed to have died after his car crashed into a river, however, no body was found and Kim is adamant he is still alive. On top of that, Kim’s ex-daughter-in-law Andrea Tate (Anna Nightingale) was recently killed during an adventure weekend gone awry. As a result, Kim took care of her now orphaned granddaughter, Millie Tate (Willow Bell). However, things changed on Wednesday night’s episode of the ITV soap opera when Andrea’s mother Hazel (Kate Anthony) arrived and revealed that she would take Millie away. Will Kim end up taking extreme measures to make sure she doesn’t lose her granddaughter?

On Wednesday night’s episode, Kim and Hazel first met as they clashed outside the village church.

“I know you. You are Kim Tate and you made my daughter’s life a misery,” Hazel retorted.

“So you are Andreas’s mother. Well, since we’re Millie’s grandparents, I think we should make an effort to be polite to each other, for her sake.

Hazel replied, “After the way you behaved? No chance.”

Things escalated further later when the couple argued again outside the church during Andrea’s memorial service.

Making it clear that she desperately wanted her granddaughter to live with her, Kim exclaimed, “But, I love her!”

Despite Kim’s pleas, Hazel insisted that Millie would leave the village with her.

“Your feelings don’t matter. When this memorial is finished, I will take Millie home and there is nothing you can do about it, ”she said.

But, will Kim let her granddaughter go without a fight?

Having lost both parents in tragic circumstances, Millie may wish to say goodbye to the village and the memories it holds.

If Millie voluntarily leaves with her other grandmother Hazel, Kim will likely be heartbroken.

Having already lost so much, the guardianship dispute could tip Kim and push her to take matters into her own hands.

Could Kim end up kidnapping Millie and running away from Emmerdale?

Emmerdale continues Thursday at 7 p.m. on ITV.
